THANK YOU very much to the 72% of the voters in Taos County who voted yes on Bond B for libraries. This is the highest percentage of yes votes for this bond out of all the counties across the state. You certainly have proven how much northern New Mexicans see the value in a literate community. Again, thank you for your support as these bond monies will go directly to resources that will benefit YOU.

It's just so exciting that I can walk over to a college library and sit and read to my heart's content!

Since this is YOUR community college library please don't ever hesitate to submit your suggestions or recommendations for book titles, newspaper, magazine or journal titles, or electronic resources that you think would be of use in YOUR library.

The library's new location at the Klauer campus is proving to be really beneficial for the students, and it has been exciting to meet new community members from the nearby neighborhoods. It's been nice to hear the positive remarks as people enter the building and see how we've been able to transform the space to be welcoming yet so functional. This could not have been done without the teamwork of UNM employees across several departments from business and accounting to construction management to physical plant to library design teams.

Please come by to see if there's a quiet corner here for you to read or study. One community member stated recently, "It's just so exciting that I can walk over to a college library and sit and read to my heart's content!"
