UNM-Taos Dean of Instruction

This past summer Mr. James Gilroy announced his planned retirement from UNM-Taos effective the end of the Spring 2012 semester. Mr. Gilroy has done an excellent job over his many years at UNM-Taos as a faculty member, Academy Head and Dean of Instruction. We look forward to working with him over the next six months as he winds down his academic duties, and we wish him and his family all the best life has to offer. He will be greatly missed.

Dr. Randi Archuleta
It is now my pleasure to officially announce the appointment of Dr. Randi Archuleta as the new Dean of Instruction for UNM-Taos. Dean Archuleta has been on faculty here for more than eleven years. She has also been on faculty at the University of Maryland, the Claremont Colleges and elsewhere during her academic career. She has also served on numerous committees and is very active throughout the Taos community in educational endeavors.

Dean Archuleta can be reached at randia@unm.edu or 575-737-6226 beginning Tuesday, January 17. She we be located in the Deans office in Pueblo Hall East by next week. Mr. Gilroy can be reached at gilroy@unm.edu. He will relocate to the UNM-Taos offices at 115 Civic Plaza Drive until his retirement in June, 2012.
